About the Role
As a Project Manager at SHIELD, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that contribute to our initiatives promoting digital safety and wellness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of programs and campaigns aimed at combating digital threats and fostering a safer online environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the Director of Digital Safety and Wellness and other department heads to align project goals with overall organizational objectives.
Collaborate with diverse teams, including content creators, digital marketing, and technology experts, to integrate different skill sets into project initiatives.
3. Stakeholder Management:
Engage with external stakeholders, including partner organizations, to foster collaboration and maximize the impact of digital safety initiatives.
Communicate project updates and outcomes effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Proactively address challenges and obstacles that may arise during project implementation.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of digital safety initiatives.
Conduct post-project evaluations to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Degree in Nursing or degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in project management, particularly in the field of digital safety, online wellness, or related areas welcomed.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of digital safety issues, cyber threats, and online community dynamics is highly desirable.
